Here we are in a new semester, and a fresh start. College so far has been good for me. Nothing really to complain about... Unless, you count the long hours of homework, studying and more. : ) Joking aside, it has been good experience. I have been in community college for longer than I would like to admit out loud, but when you work full time it happens. Sometimes college has to take a back seat to paying the bills.
So far my impression of the education system, for college at least, is that it requires more hard work then expected. I am sure we would all love to be straight A students, but it is easier said than done sometimes. Ultimately though, I hope that all of my hard work will pay off. My goals for college are to get my degree in business accounting and get my C.P.A.
High school on the other hand was just an okay experience for me. Honestly, I didn't care for high school at all. The few things that kept me going (and that wasn't often I'm ashamed to say) were a few awesome teachers and friends. Other than that I could have pretty much cared less. That attitude has changed though. : )
What is it about college, versus high school, that keeps a student more motivated?
Or are the less motivated filtered out? (Because college is in fact an option, not a necessity)
Rationalism- Believing there is reasoning for every action/thought.
Anti Rationalism- The opposite of rationalism. Believing in unreasoned action/thoughts.
Fundamentalism- The belief that the Bible hold all truth.
